Flawless skin - isn't that what we all want when we apply foundation? Smashbox created a BB Water product that is a very liquid foundation - their Camera Ready BB Water Broad Spectrum SPF 30. You may remember I tried their BB Cream for Eyes a few year ago (see that review here). Before we begin, first about my foundation needs:

Mascara is one of those makeup products that can either make or break a look. In my latest mascara adventures I decided to try the new Rimmel Wonder'lash Mascara. Before we get started, a bit about my mascara needs:
Facts about my eyes: Size: Medium Shape: Almond Color: Brown Type: Hooded (and I mean hooooded) Lashes: Medium length, straight The Instagram brow - if you don't know what this is, check out what they look like here, or a video all about them here. I'm more of an every day brow kinda girl because
1. I can't be bothered to draw on brows every day - that's a 10 minute affair 2. Clowns scare me, and well some Instagram brows look like clown brows to me I've only recently been into brows - really it was only just a few years ago that I had my makeup done, and had my brows filled in. I was shocked that my brows needed to be filled in because my brows were out of control of years! Filling them in was the last of my worries. About my brows: Hair Color: Dark Brown/Black Texture: coarse, and straight as can be, usually pointing down Thickness: Quite thick, but sparingly at the ends
Drugstore lipsticks are hit and miss - and at the price point that Essence Cosmetic offers, I really wondered if they could make a quality lipstick at the price - I decided to give the lipstick a try.
About my lips: Skin: Dry Natural color: Berry Yes - it took me a long time to accept it, the fear of snow and cold, cold days kept me in denial. But finding a few beauty items for the fall has helped me embrace the season! Here are a few of my beauty picks for Fall.
I'm always on the hunt for that one single easy to wear eye-shadow that you can just wear on it's own - especially on those mornings that perhaps I decided that an extra 5 minutes of sleep was worth just throwing my hair up, and skipping eye liner because who has time for that every morning?!
On my recent search, I decided to try out Red Apple Lipstick's Minx Eye Shadow. To learn more about Red Apple Lipstick visit my post here. Before we get to this eye shadow, a bit about my eye needs: Facts about my eyes: Size: Medium Shape: Almond Color: Brown Type: Hooded Disclaimer: This lipstick was sent to me for review. See my full disclaimer here. Red Apple Lipstick was founded in 2007 by Jay Harper to bring a new line of cosmetics focused on paraben free, gluten free, animal free, vitamin-e enriched lipstick while offering great customer service. Their focus is developing cosmetics that have more natural products, and are over-all great for your skin. And well, when you're practically ingesting lipstick that's a good thing! Before we get into the details - first about my lip needs:
Facts about my skin: Skin tone: Olive tone Lip tone: Berry tone lips Lip condition: normal, but require moisture in my dry climate! Learn more about the company here. Disclaimer: This lipstick was sent to me for review. See my full disclaimer here. Long-wearing foundation, is difficult to find with oily skin. And a some time ago, I was searching for a new foundation to try instead of my usual MAC's Studio Fix for those full coverage days. Welcome to Marc Jacob's Genius Gel - Supercharged Foundation in the color Golden Medium.
Marc Jacobs (or Marc, as I like to call him, you know like we're buddies) now has his own makeup line. Seems like many designers over the past few years have come out with their own make-up lines. I have some reservations of designers 'jumping ship' into the cosmetic industry - but I thought I would give this foundation a try as it was recommended as a great option from my local Sephora. First, about my foundation needs: Facts about my skin: Skin tone: Olive tone Skin type: Oily and acne prone Problems: Occasional breakouts on the chin and cheeks, acne scars, large pores in the t-zone, an oily t-zone, and the odd wrinkle. Where to begin... I seem to read rave reviews about this mascara everwhere - there are ambassadors on YouTube, endless reviews in magazines, and blogs. I have been dying to try out this mascara, and I had the opportunity to pick up a sample from Sephora using my VIB points. Here is my tale of Too Faced's Better Than Sex Mascara. I have a few things to say about this little mascara, but first about my mascara needs:
