Spring is here - and although we had a snow storm this weekend here in western Canada, the sun is shining today - and I swear things are starting to look less brown outside! I started my spring prep with some fun spring makeup purchases, and now, I'm ready to put away the dark winter polishes and start wearing some fun colors!
AA, BB, CC creams, do you we'll keep going down the alphabet? The first BB cream I tried was from Garnier, and really I wasn't impressed. To me, most BB creams feel like tinted moisturizers - nothing special. I was recently at Sephora looking for something light to wear for the summer that would survive the entire day and provide medium coverage - and I was recommended Tarte's BB tinted treatment primer. Sure it's "primer" - but I put it to the test as a stand-alone BB cream.
Facts about my skin: Skin tone: Olive tone Skin type: Oily and acne prone Problems: Occasional breakouts on the chin and cheeks, acne scars, large pores in the t-zone, an oily t-zone, and the odd wrinkle - well that's a depressing list. The 'no-poo' hair method has become all the rage recently - essentially it's where you no longer use "commercial" shampoo. I personally am too terrified to even think about living thru my hair and scalp adjusting itself to a 'non-shampoo' world as I would be a grease-ball for weeks. However, I do think that some shampoos today do contain ingredients that are not good for us, our hair, and our scalp which is why I'm always on the hunt for more natural products. Which brings me to Biotene H-24 by Millcreek.
Over the past few years my hair has become a lot thinner than it use to be - and I've tried many products such as Nioxin, and other 'thickening shampoos'. Through my research I have read how great biotin vitamins are (have you seen all those crazy pinterest pictures?!). When I found Biotene H-24 at my local health community store, I decided to put it to the test. Welcome to my review of One 'n Only Argan Heat Ceramic Dryer.
