The 'no-poo' hair method has become all the rage recently - essentially it's where you no longer use "commercial" shampoo. I personally am too terrified to even think about living thru my hair and scalp adjusting itself to a 'non-shampoo' world as I would be a grease-ball for weeks. However, I do think that some shampoos today do contain ingredients that are not good for us, our hair, and our scalp which is why I'm always on the hunt for more natural products. Which brings me to Biotene H-24 by Millcreek.

Over the past few years my hair has become a lot thinner than it use to be - and I've tried many products such as Nioxin, and other 'thickening shampoos'. Through my research I have read how great biotin vitamins are (have you seen all those crazy pinterest pictures?!). When I found Biotene H-24 at my local health community store, I decided to put it to the test.

The Product: Biotene H-24

Biotene H-24 is a "complete system of hair care especially designed to help hair look and feel thicker and healthier. These highly effective products contain the finest natural ingredients scientifically combined to give hair fullness, strength, body and shine." Its a 3 step process - shampoo, conditioner, and scalp massage gel (you can buy each individually for about $10). The gel, is applied to wet hair after conditioner. The ingredeints prove it's chock-full of natural goodness for your hair - from aloe vera to biotin. Although the ingredients are great, bottles themselves are nothing special, and I found they were a little odd-shaped to 'squeeze' the last little bit of product left in them.

The Results

I have been using the shampoo, conditioner and the scalp massage emulsion for just over 6 months now. I'm on my third refills. And the verdict? This trio has quickly become a holy grail for my hair.  My hair breaks less, and over-all I have found it thicker, fuller, and healthier. The shampoo gets my hair clean without leaving it too dry, and the conditioner nourishes my hair without weighing it down - and it has a pleasant natural sweet scent. The scalp gel I didn't find too 'magical' I thought the winners here were the shampoo and conditioner.

The professional verdict? at my last visit to my hair stylist, she couldn't believe the great shape my hair was in even though I hadn't been in for a cut for 4 months - and I use my hair dryer usually 7 days a week, and a curling iron at least 2 days a week!

I utilized a customary hair curling accessory and made ringlets. Like my cousins hair we began from the base and we worked our way up to the highest point of her hair.

The ingredients demonstrate it's stuffed with normal goodness for your hair from aloe vera to biotin. Despite the fact that the fixings are incredible, bottles themselves are nothing exceptional, and I discovered they were somewhat odd-molded to crush the last tiny bit of item left in them.
