Yes - it took me a long time to accept it, the fear of snow and cold, cold days kept me in denial. But finding a few beauty items for the fall has helped me embrace the season! Here are a few of my beauty picks for Fall.
OROGOLD 24K Body Lotion ($38 CDN)
Who doesn't like to pretend to be ancient royalty once in a while? I do every day! This OROGOLD 24K body lotion contains actual gold as an ingredient - stemming from Cleopatra using a gold mask each night to help with her completion. If it's good enough for Cleopatra, it's certainly good enough for me!
Although you can't see an speckles of gold when applied, the gold is suppose to have anti-aging properties. I found that it leaves my skin moisturized without feeling greasy. It contains a floral scent which I really love, but may be too much for some.

LACC Beauty Nail polish in 1988 ($12 CDN)
Nailpolish is probably my most favorite thing about the fall. I love the deep neutral colors. LACC Beauty is a Canadian based brand that offers 5-free nailpolish - free of the harmful toxins formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP, camphor or toluene. Learn more about these toxins here.

Maybelline's Color Tattoo - Leather Collection ($9 CDN)
Maybelline's color tattoos came out with the Color Tattoo Leather collection a few months ago. This line only has matte colors perfect for the fall. The formula requires a little more work to blend compared to the originals, but the colors are really great. I picked up:
1. Creamy Beige (left) - a dark beige neutral that works great as a base color
2. Vintage Plum (right) - a great dull, grey purple that adds a great pop of color on brown eyes, but still muted for every day wear.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye-liner ($26 CDN)
Hooded eye friends, rejoice! I have found a liquid eye-liner that is long-lasting and won't smudge throughout the day, and leave you with a hot mess on your lids. I've been loving using Stila's Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye-liner
Type: Marker-type tip that has a very precise end for those rocking a cat eye
Application: You need to work rather fast, because one this bad boy sets, it's on for the long-haul! You want to fix any uneven-ness before it dries, reapplying the liner on top of already set liner will result in flaking throughout the day.
Longevity: This bad boy lasts 12+ hours easily.

L'Oreal Colour Riche in Nature's Blush(#840) ($11 CDN)
Although I like bold berry color lips, I often find that it sometimes is a little overpowering on my big lips. For an everyday wear, I've been enjoying Revlon's Color Riche's lipstick in Nature's Blush (#840). The color on my naturally berry lips, adds a brown rosy color, with warm brown tones. Although I do like the color, and formula of this lipstick - I do think the scent and packaging need a little rework. The scent on this lipstick is not pleasant, and the packaging needs a little more modern look. I love the gold, but this one looks straight from the 90s!
