SMASHBOX is a great make-up line over-all - at least from the items that I've tried so far. I picked up this kit to try out a few of their best sellers and well - let's face it they're all in mini bottles! I love me some minis!

The Results
Photo Finish Foundation Primer - an oldie but a goodie. As far as I'm concerned, SMASHBOX really pushed the foundation primer obsession - and it all started with this silicone based primer. I'm personally not a big fan of primers but on special occasion it does make a difference in the longevity and application of foundation. Overall this is a great basic primer.
Photo Finish Lid Primer - I love eye shadow primers with a hint of color to cancel out any lid discoloration and this does the trick! This is a great primer that sets quickly - and you only need to apply small amount. This one little tube has lasted me months!
Limitless Eye Liner in Onyx - I'm not a huge fan of pencil liners because with hooded eyes I need something that sets quickly like a gel liner. I found this pencil to be a great one for smudging and using on the waterline. This is a really great deep black liner.
Full Exposure Mascara in Jet Black - I consider my Holy Grail mascara to be Benefit's Their Real so I didn't expect much from this mascara - but SMASHBOX has proved me wrong... This stuff works well to add volume and builds beautifully without turning into spider eyes. Overall, this is a must-try!!
Lip Enhancing Gloss in Illume - I can see why this gloss is a bestseller -it's one of those glosses that pairs well with any lipstick color or just on natural lips. The iridescenceof this lip gloss adds nude sheen on the lips. The only downfall I found was that the gloss did leave the lips with a few sparkly "chunks" behind when it dried out.
Overall, this mini kit is a great way to try out SMASHBOX products, and a great variety of products to try - and they are great for travelling. I packed all of these on my last get away! Best of all, the products themselves do not disappoint.
