The Product: Caviar Anti-Aging Working Hair Spray
When did "anti-aging" hairspray become a "thing"? I remember clearly the day I picked up this beauty bottle - during a Sephora VIB sale with my sister screaming "do not buy that it's ridiculous". Yes, she's right it's a pretty ridiculous claim - but I'm a sucker. The bottle is so pretty, and well if it really is anti-aging well then I should really try it!

This was my first purchase of the Caviar (owned by Alterna) line. The entire line claims to:
- combat the aging of hair,
- contain a micro-structure of ingredients that allows to penetrate deeply in the hair,
- provide color protection. progressive control provides humidity resistance with a flexible, yet brushable, light-to-medium hold.

The packaging itself is lovely - a lilac bottle with an impressive nozzle allows for really fine mist.

The Results
I feel like I'm cheating on my holy grail hairspray (Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray), but this hairspray is too good to pass up every morning! It provide a great medium hold without leaving my hair sticky. Because of my fine hair I need to bring it back to like throughout the day by giving it a quick tousle - I found that my hair was always left with movement, and never stiff. As for the humidity claim - unfortunately I live in a very dry party of Canada - and humid days are hard to come by! Because of this, I can't really say how well it held up against humidity
Now the best part - this stuff smells DELICIOUS. It's seriously like perfume for your hair - and not in a gross obnoxious way. The scent is a light floral scent - I personally think it's good enough to bottle.
Now does it really offer any "anti-aging" for your hair? It's difficult to measure such a claim with a hairspray. I personally think that the only way to anti-age your hair is by the food you eat, and using a whole regime of products - not just a hairspray. I think to test out a claim like that I would need to try the entire line of products (or perhaps that's just my exclude for more shopping)
