Lately, I've been obsessed with brows - perhaps I've been spending too much time on online on instagram admiring perfectly drawn and groomed brows. It's really a talent I think - usually mine look like sisters and not twins.
Amidst a shopping trip at Sephora where they were giving away complimentary Benefit goodies with the purchase of two Benefit products I decided to give this a Speed Brow a whirl - well perhaps not this particular product *sheepish smile* I thought I had picked up "Gimme Brow" but I instead picked up "Speed Brow". That's what I get for going shopping in a rush on my lunch break! In any event, I decided to give it a whirl.
About my eyes/brows:
Brow color: black/brown
Eye shape: almond (hooded)
Brow hair thickness: average, sometimes unruly

The Product: Benefit's Speed Brow
The packaging for this brow get I think looked exactly the same as "Gimme Brow" I think they should differentiate the packaging a little more - hence why I was confused and picked this up instead of Gimme Brow. Apart from that, the actual product is quite wee and mini - which I love (as I have a soft spot in my heart for all miniature things). The size itself does make it a great item for travelling. Given the size, I thought the price was a bit steep ($22 CND)for brow gel (0.1 oz.).
The brush itselt is about 1/2 or 1/4 of the size of your typical mascara wand, and the actual gel is tinted an ashy brown. The product itself does not fill in your brows it's strictly mean to be used as a gel to hold the hair sin place. It's a universal color for all - it claims to be "brush-on gel is the short cut to perfect looking brows. With a few quick strokes brows are set, tamed, and tinted. Now you're ready for living in the fast lane!"

The Results
I by no means have sparse brows - in fact I usually have to work hard to shape and tame those bad boys into place. Overall I think this was a descent brow gel. I do like that it had a tint to it, as sometimes the clear ones get a little white and crusty when the gel dries. Speed Brow dried quickly and never discolored by brow hairs.
If you have completely unruly brows this is definitely one to try, but I do think the price is a little steep for tinted brow gel. Results for me weren't anything special - I think grooming your grows will give you the similar results, you just need to get on top of them before they get bushy!
