How is it that one nail polish can be worthy of an entire blog post? I had done some online research (aka google images) on Zoya's Sansa before I purchased it. The color looked lovely online, but when I received this polish in the mail I think I may have squealed in excitement when I first pulled it out of the box (ordered from NailPolishCanada). There are a few things I love in life: purple, and gold. And well, if this nail polish was not meant for me, then I don't know what is. As far as I'm concerned it should have been named "Diana" - but I must admit I do love the name Sansa! Volume, volume, volume. For me, volume is what I am after every single morning with my thin limp hair. Anything that has the possibility to give me more volume I am willing to try. In my latest quest for volume I picked up Garnier Fructis Deconstructed Texture Tease spray. I believe this is a fairly new product to Canada - as I was not able to find any information about it on the Garnier Canadian site.
About my hair: Texture: Curly/wavy Thickness: Thin Length: Medium Color: Dark ash brown (dyed) Yes - it took me a long time to accept it, the fear of snow and cold, cold days kept me in denial. But finding a few beauty items for the fall has helped me embrace the season! Here are a few of my beauty picks for Fall.
Deep conditioner on my thin hair - can either leave me with lovely healthy bouncy hair - or leave me like a cow licked my head, essentially one greasy mess. In my latest quest for a deep conditioner I decided to try the L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Restorative Masque. About my thin hair:
About my hair: Texture: Curly/wavy Thickness: Thin Length: Medium Color: Dark ash brown (dyed) I'm always on the hunt for that one single easy to wear eye-shadow that you can just wear on it's own - especially on those mornings that perhaps I decided that an extra 5 minutes of sleep was worth just throwing my hair up, and skipping eye liner because who has time for that every morning?!
On my recent search, I decided to try out Red Apple Lipstick's Minx Eye Shadow. To learn more about Red Apple Lipstick visit my post here. Before we get to this eye shadow, a bit about my eye needs: Facts about my eyes: Size: Medium Shape: Almond Color: Brown Type: Hooded Disclaimer: This lipstick was sent to me for review. Red Apple Lipstick was founded in 2007 by Jay Harper to bring a new line of cosmetics focused on paraben free, gluten free, animal free, vitamin-e enriched lipstick while offering great customer service. Their focus is developing cosmetics that have more natural products, and are over-all great for your skin. And well, when you're practically ingesting lipstick that's a good thing! Before we get into the details - first about my lip needs:
Facts about my skin: Skin tone: Olive tone Lip tone: Berry tone lips Lip condition: normal, but require moisture in my dry climate! Learn more about the company here. I was previously using the very much loved Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray, but I wanted to try a higher end brand and something that would not only be a heat protectant but had a light hold as well - I chose to try Redken Iron Shape 11 at the advice of my local Chatters. First, a little bit about my hair needs:
